Stay safe and get yourself home. Thanks for everything.

Ecstatic to see that you are coming home my brother. I hope that your return trip brings you through New York so I can see you in person. As always, you and your men will remain in my prayers until each and every one of you are back on U.S. soil.

Wanted to send you a little update. I sent you a picture of the new 7 WTC (World Trade Center) building that is almost ready for tenants. Like the Phoenix, it is yet another message to the Arhabi that they will never win. God speed on your return trip

Your friend always,

Can't wait for you to be back...only an few more nights of the nightly prayer for you and then we will have to change the words..Goody. We are so proud of you. Thank you for all you have done for us and in our name. I am glad you are my brother- Ginny

Godspeed Major K!

From Vietnam to Iraq (Now It Can Be Blogged]? Looks like yes! There was nothing more Vietnam than "short", "getting short," "Can't you see I'm short"?

I haven't gotten credentialed (they want a "news agency" to "vouch" for independent blogger who spent five years in Vietnam.) So, I'm not in, but glad that you'll be out after honorable service. Enjoy the great homecoming you are due for.

Major K,

Can't wait for the first post from HOME!!!

Major K, thank you sir for your service. I too feel honored to have had your blog to read and share your thoughts and the real goings on in Iraq. You are a real tribute to our country. I am so sorry you had to go to Iraq and miss your son's birth; but, just knowing you were there with your blog updates made me feel safer. Thank You. God Bless you and you family for all you sacrificed. May you go home and find the peace you so deserve.

When Johnny comes marching home again,
Hurrah! Hurrah!
We'll give him a hearty welcome then,
Hurrah! Hurrah!
The men will cheer, the boys will shout,
The ladies they will all turn out,
And we'll all feel gay
When Johnny comes marching home.

The old church bells will peal with joy,
Hurrah! Hurrah!
To welcome home our darling boy,
Hurrah! Hurrah!
The village lads and lassies say
With roses they will strew the way,
And we'll all feel gay
When Johnny comes marching home.

Get ready for the Jubilee,
Hurrah! Hurrah!
We'll give the hero three times three,
Hurrah! Hurrah!
The laurel wreath is ready now
To place upon his loyal brow,
And we'll all feel gay
When Johnny comes marching home.

Let love and friendship on that day,
Hurrah! Hurrah!
Their choicest treasures then display,
Hurrah! Hurrah!
And let each one perform some part
To fill with joy the warrior's heart,
And we'll all feel gay
When Johnny comes marching home.

Major K it's been a real privlege reading about your experiences in Iraq. Thank you so much for everything.
