Chevy Rose

Let me be the first to say, "Congratulations".

When we found out that Owen was on his way, Dad just smirked and said, "It's all about to change. Nobody can 'tell' you about it. You have to 'live' it."

He was right. What a rush. I can't wait for you to enjoy it too.

Congratulations. My son who is Iraq will be home in two days to see his daughter for the first time since she was born after he deployed. Looking forward to his reaction.

Congrats, Major! I've got 4 (oldest about to turn 10), so I can confidently tell you that NOTHING will be the same ever again. It's the toughest job you'll ever love.

Some of the days (and nights) are long, but the years are so very short. Enjoy!

Congratulations Greg & Lucy - you're correct you are truly blessed. Our little ones are very excited about a new cousin to be named later and are already arguing (yes, they do this) about whether it will be a boy or a girl!
Prayers & gratitude,
Johnny & Beth

CONGRATS GREG!!!! G and I are so excited for you! We'll be sure to take good care of Lucy for you in your absence. Can't wait to have another little niece or nephew running around.

Any requests on a care package I'm sending?

Congratulations Major K.,

You and your family will be in my prayers.

All the best,

Oh my gosh!! Congratulations!!! I am so happy for you.

Also, thank you so much for your sacrificial service and for your wonderful blog.

Congratulations to you both, Major K. Sounds like the kid is already blessed with two wonderful parents.

Congrats and good luck to you and your wife.

Jim and Marla

Congratulations to you on starting your own platoon! Enjoy that cot. You'll get more sleep there than you will here.

Be safe.

Wilby and Marla

Great nes sir,

When I left for OIF I I left a 7 month old. Missed a lot while I was gone but in retrospect it was the best time to go. He doesnt remember that year and now all the good stuff is going on. The next (and last) addition debuts on or about April 6th so I am trying to "get skinny" so OIF IV cant see me.

May the Lord continue to bless you and watch over you as He has caused His face to shine upon you. Congratulations Major!

Way to go Greg! All of us here are tickled and can't wait to greet "Cletus the Fetus" when we see Lucy. Your child will be blessed with the two of you and you will be changed forever. When the movie "The Pacifier" comes out, you will have to see it. It is about an army guy who has to protect a suburban family of kids....and does it in special ops style. (Vin Diesel plays the soldier) The trailers make me think of you. Love from all of us---GeneralLeeLoud says hi- Ginny LYMYMIBD

congrats. I've finally started warming up to the idea of fatherhood, and it scares me, but I can feel it coming closer everyday.

Welcome to the world, lil soljah.

Here from BlackFive's link. CONGRATULATIONS!
Another citizen to receive all the blessings
and benefits that come with being an American.
Thank you for serving our country. Best of LUCK!

The Sanity Inspector

Also clicking through from BlackFive: Congratulations! Soon you will receive more joy than you thought was humanly possible. I'm gonna go kiss my own now, since it's all I can do by way of celebration for you. Congrats once again!

What wonderful, wonderful news.

Congratulations Greg and Lucy! That is awesome news!

By the way, is there a glossary of some of the achronyms used in here anywhere? I can figure most of them out but the family in here is pretty creative and I sometimes get confused.

Anyway, congrats again from all the Hunts in Utah!

Better late than never to offer congrats!! Wondered if you have considered a cyber baby shower? A group I belong to, Angels 'n Camouflage, adopts deployed military. In the case of a bundle of joy being expected, the cyber showers have been greatly appreciated. In our case, unfortunately, you have to be signed up in order to have a "hosting angel", but this could easily be done like the "Wish List" process which would enable anonymity. If you are interested, I would be glad to help. Sincerely, Julie
